The Board of the Meaford Culture Foundation consists of up to nine volunteer Directors.
We also have committees of volunteers who assist individual Directors to manage their portfolio. Dan White (Chair) is a newly retired financial advisor of 7 years and prior to that worked in manufacturing for 38 years in various positions including Production Manager, Quality Manager and Process Improvement Manager. He is currently the President of the Meaford Kinsmen, member of the Meaford chapter of Community Foundation Grey Bruce (previously a board member) and Past President of the Meaford Chamber of Commerce.
Ted Brown (Vice Chair and Chair of MIFF) joined the Foundation in 2005 and brings 50 years of experience in building construction & trade show project management. He is involved with two companies, one for specialty construction project management and the other a manufacturer of Trade Show booths, special signage and graphic applications. He is a past-President of the Meaford Curling Club. Ted has masterminded many fundraisers in the Municipality.
Robert Uhrig (Secretary) has over 30 years of professional marketing and senior management experience in the material handling industry in Toronto. Also, a published songwriter and former Administrative Director of the Grey Bruce Arts Council, he is a lover, participant and strong supporter of the arts. Raised in Meaford, he has recently retired as the Sales & Marketing Manager for Bruce Street Technologies Limited and is currently serving as Councillor for the Municipality of Meaford.
Bill Loucks is a 2 time Gemini Award winning Cameraman and Video Editor who retired from The National after a successful 38 year career with CBC. He moved to Meaford in 2012, returning to live in the home that has been in his family for over 150 years. He became a member of the Meaford Cultural Foundation board in 2021 and has been the the official videographer for the Meaford International Film Festival since 2014. He continues to work casually in video production with Rogers TV in Owen Sound and as a photographer for local events in and around Meaford.
Andrea Roylance is a proud citizen of Meaford and joined the Meaford Culture Foundation Board in December 2023. Specializing in community engagement and fundraising events, Andrea has experience in various sectors including travel and tourism, arts and culture, public relations and healthcare community development. Andrea is excited to contribute to the arts and cultural environment and looks forward to creating awareness and increasing participation in all that our community has to offer.
